velocity is speed in a given direction while acceleration is the rate at which velocity changes
velocity- 55mi/hr north
acceleration- from 0 to 55mi/hr in 10 seconds
Acceleration describes how the velocity is changing. Velocity describes how fast an object is moving. (Average acceleration = change in velocity / time taken)
velocity is speed and direction while accerlation is the rate that velocity changes
Velocity is the measure of speed in a certain direction and acceleration is the change of velocity.
Going east at 1 mph = velocity
Going from 0 to 60 in 0.0000000000099 seconds = acceleration
Acceleration is the speed that an object acquires when starting to move and velocity is the force pushing through gravity when the object is already moving!
Acceleration is the speed tha an object travels at and velocity is the force pushing the object.
Velocity is the speed in a given direction. For example, a car is traveling 50 mi/h south.
Acceleration is the rate at which the velocity is changing. For example, a car can go from zero to 55mi/h in 10 seconds.
