Bernoulli Links for Physics

Currently, you're studying the Bernoulli Principle in Physics. You will want to visit Forces in Flight and complete slides 1-48. Post a summary on your personal blog include comments on what you learned, what you liked about the site and what you didn't like.

You can also check out Bernoulli's Principle real world applications & cool things to try. Eventhough you won't be able to preview the entire lesson, make a prediction on how you think this activity relates to the Bernoulli Principle.

7th Grade - Density Diver Lab Report

You will preparing a formal lab report for your Density Diver lab. You will include the following items:
  • Purpose of lab
  • Materials
  • Procedures - summarize the process in your own words
  • Analysis - summarize in your own words what happened to diver and how the water affected it
  • Conclusion - what can you conclude from this experiment and be sure to include Pascal's principle.
**** If you finish early, you can check out the buoyancy links from the physic's class (prior day post)

What Floats your Boat?

This activity will enhance your knowledge of buoyancy and Archimedes' Principle and your ability to communicate.

Wednesday, you did a simple lab where you had to make a chunk of clay float. Briefly respond to the following questions on your blog:
  • What happened when the clay was initially dropped in the water?
  • What data did you collect?
  • How were you able to make the clay float?
  • How do the data support why your boat floated?
  • Whose principal did you demonstrate?

Next you will try some interactive sights related to buoyancy. Try these out and also post a link to them on your blog & rate each 1-5 stars.
